Recently, I have been evaluating certain images for printing on metal. I happen to really like the metallic ish finish on well a metallic surface. This image stands out as one that turned out really well on the brushed greyish metal. In evaluating other images, I believe it starts with addressing where the most mileage is gained in starting with an already greyish, dark metal background. Obviously black and white readily come to mind as good candidates, however as in shadowbending, the highlights can be expressed as more like silvery hues, rather than pure shades of grey or off white, which I believe in the end is what makes it a prime candidate for the metallic finish.
